GFF series is well known for its ultra details and miniature decals among Gundam fans. At its 29th release comes with a twin pack of God Gundam and Nobell Gundam from the G-Gundam series. This is definitely the first for Hajime Katoki to provide 2 figures in one release rather than the conventional figure conversion approach

This release features God Gundam (a.k.a. Burning Gundam) and Nobell Gundam from G-Gundam anime series. The story goes around a Gundam Fight Tournament where each country send in their best Gundam fighter to Earth to battle each other on a 1-on-1 basis to decide which country should rule the world.

The mecha design is controversial and sometimes outrageous. It is safe to say it might not be everyone cup of tea. Although, each Gundam design gears towards the represented country's culture, there are some that do not fit in. The second figure, Nobell Gundam, is a fine example. Nobell is representing Sweden and there is not a single shred of Swedish feel on it. Granted, it is the first female Gundam ever appear in history but then why Japanese school girl?

Anyway, the package comes in a conventional box design with clear plastic windows large enough to showcase its contents. The contents are separated into 2 trays and the part listing is as follows.

Upper Tray

  • 2 figures
  • 4 claw (for God Gundam)
  • 2 beam saber (square handle w/ blade for God Gundam)
  • 2 beam saber (square handle w/o blade for God Gundam)
  • 2 Burning Hand
  • 1 chest (Hyper mode)
  • 2 beam blade (round handle w/ blade for Nobell Gundam)
  • 1 short beam whip
  • 1 single hair piece (large)
  • 9 hair pieces
Lower Tray
  • 2 display base (for God Gundam and Nobell Gundam)
  • 2 adjustable display stand
  • 1 Corelander (w/ detachable cockpit)
  • 1 beam whip (long encircling whip)
  • 6 hands (God Gundam)
  • 6 hands (Nobell Gundam)

Both figures come with superb articulation. Moreover, ditching the conversion design is a welcome change. This seriously noted on the figure durability where parts pop-up problem is comparatively lesser to the standard GFF figure.

Just Married?

Corelander's cockpit has to be removed before attaching  to God Gundam.
Sailor Moon??? Flexible whip encircling her body.
  Gundam in high heels?
