Story
Belldandy is a goddess with an unlimited 1st class,
2nd category license and is in charge of the
"present". Belldandy came down from the heavens to
grant Keiichi his wish after he called a wrong
number. After she made his wish come true, she has
been living with him at the Tariki-hoganji temple
ever since. She is a very pure and kind person- a
role model for all the goddesses. At the same time,
she is also a very strong willed person. She has a
younger sister Skuld and an older sister Urd.
Comment
Originally release as a resin kit, which is sculpted by Ryujin, Max
Factory is bringing this sculpt in PVC medium. This is indeed good news for
collectors who do not paint resin kit and releases from Max Factory always
means serious quality. This package comes in a dull carton box and once
opened, Belldandy is contained in another clear crystal package. The crystal
packaging is stylish enough to be display Belldandy as it is. This figure
comes with a plastic display base colored in marble pattern.
The paint job is excellent with good skin tone and subtle shading featuring Belldandy in a one-piece swimsuit as seen in anime. There are many small details on this figure such as bracelets, gold ring and earring. Even her fingernails and toenails are painted in pink!
At very close inspection, slight paint run is noticed at Belldandy's blue bracelet and some subtle mould lines is spotted at the back of Belldandy's left arm and her inner right thigh. The mentioned imperfections could hardly be seen and not worth to be alarmed of.
