Guyver 3 is a stunningly beautiful figure from Max Factory with superb detail, fabulous paint job and finish. The box mentioned “full body move” and it really does mean every word of it! Fully jointed with 17 points of articulations, which allows posing in just about any way imaginable, while cleverly engineered with all joints well hidden, a feature that I wish available in the SIC series. This figure is perfect in quality except for some minor seam lines spotted on the inner arms. However, the spotted defect could hardly be seen unless in a closed up. The whole figure, although made of PVC, has a sturdy and hefty feel to it. Not just a cheap action figure or a plastic toy for kids but a stylish display figure for collectors.

Figure is packaged in a crystal box with illustrations and some instructions on the back cover. Separated into 2 layers where the top layer hold the figure with additional parts; 2 extra pair of hands (2x palm and 2x hold), 2 long and 2 short glow in the dark high frequency blade, 2 short and 2 longer decorative thorns attachable to arms. The lower layer holds the display base and stand.

Head is sculpted intricately and fully articulated moveable in all directions. Chest is moveable up and down with waist that turns. Both side of the chest can swing open individually to reveal 2 clear green "Megasmasher" cannon. The interiors are well detailed.

The arm swings backward with double-jointed elbows. The fist is attached to the arm via a pin that allows free movement. Some caution has to be taken here as the pin looks quite thin and fragile. Each arm comes with 2 slots for the attachment of "High Frequency Blades" via ball joints hidden inside both arm. This allows some degree of movement for the blades.

The hips design is interesting where the joints allows forward-backward and limited side-way movements while the joints are well concealed. Knees are double jointed where the feet are ball-jointed. The toes can move downwards.

A plastic display base is provided. It is engraved with Guyver logo in Japanese, with a metal rod, which catches the figure by the waist.

This kit is purchased via preorder online from Hobby Link Japan. A must have for all action-figure collectors.

Agito's uncle secretly forced Agito's real father into bankruptcy and the price for bailing his brother out was Agito. Not long after that Agito's mother died, and his real father committed suicide soon following. Adopted as Genzo Makishima's heir, Agito was raised to be brilliant - as well as ruthless and uncaring. The boy learned to hate his adoptive father, and through him, Cronos. Even from the beginning, Agito wants not only to destroy Genzo and Cronos, but also become ruler of the world himself using Cronos' resources. As the series progresses that ideal fades somewhat, but we are always reminded by it through his ruthless personality and actions. He sees Sho and his friends as people rather than pawns in the 'game' he's 'playing' with Cronos. This idea sort of fades in the after a couple books, but it reappears strongly again when he has control of the Gigantic Guyver Armor.

Agito is of medium build and well muscled; he is a 3rd form student at the same high school the others attend but looks older. Brilliant, he is studying college-level subjects. He almost never allows sentiment to stand in his way, and he can come across as a cold, calculating bastard at times. His motives are definitely mixed, and while not a villain he's not a 'pure-hearted hero' either. He lost his idealism years ago. At one point a candidate-member of the Cronos Elite, he is viewed by them as a traitor. Guyot especially wants him dead. Even though he may have activated his Unit before Risker, because he did not openly appear in his Guyver armor until after Risker was eliminated and therefore he is called Guyver 3.
