Heaven's Prison is a new manga series and the
first volume is released with a limited edition
figure. This special box set includes the first
volume of the comic, by Utatane Hiroyuki, and a
nicely poseable action figure (w/ 23 points of
articulation) of Saki, sculpted by Apsy Masaki,
specially produced for this release only. The figure
is not being released separately, limited to 10,000
unit produced worldwide.
This special limited box set contains the following items.
- 1 Heaven's Prison Comic (203 pages)
- 1 Saki figure w/ 23 points of articulation
- 1 extra right hand
- 1 extra bended right leg (replacement)
- 1 front hair piece w/o glasses (replacement)
- 2 detachable white ribbons attached to the blouse
- 1 mop
Comic comes in 203 pages in Japanese language. Since I could not read Japanese, thus I do not know head and tails on its content.
The Saki figure, which is my main interest, comes with good mobility and details. No obvious paint runs detected since the paint job is well done. Each arm comes with 5 points of articulations and her left hand can grasp a mop that comes with it. Her hair ribbons are rotate-able and so do her head can rotate on x-axis. Her waist moves up, down and sideway. The legs are fixed-posed jointed at the crotch and has a good range of movement. An extra bended right leg provided for poses as seen in the comic. There are two articulations on each boots, one allowing the boot to rotate sideway and another enable the boots to be twisting left or right, which gives some freedom of movement. Two large white ribbons are to be plugged into the back of her dress moveable sideway. Saki can pose without her glasses by detaching the front piece of her hair and exchange with the additional set. Putting this figure to display can pose quite a problem, as it does not stand on its own well.
