Being
the least mature, emotional, indecisive and with a questionable masculinity character in
Saint Seiya TV Series, Shun is the least favorable among the 5 bronze saints. Ironically,
Andromeda Shun at all times plays the sole responsibility of getting beat up to the point of
defeat so that his brother, Phoenix Ikki could make an appearance to save him. Shun is, safe
to say, not the most popular characters among the bronze saints and Bandai marketing
personnel again demonstrate their market know-how by loading this kit with good enough
gimmicks and quality to ensure Saint Seiya fans will not overlook this release.
Among the earlier release, Shun's head is sculpted to be the least likely to the anime. The hair, as in Hyoga, comes in green and with forward folds. A small portion of the hair in the front can be removed to fit in the head circlet.
The body armor comes in shiny metallic pink. The large shoulder armor is cleverly design in a way where it employs clasps to join to the shoulders allowing unhindered movement on that area. The rest of the parts are either slot in or clasp on to the figure. An interesting feature is that it comes with four metal chains (2 long and 2 shorter chains) for various pose. The 'Nebula Rolling Defense' pose is performed by using a circular soft plastic chain. This kit comes with an additional set of bigger kneecap, which I found peculiar. Does Bandai's designer decide that Andromeda's breast is too petite for an actual knee cap?
The Andromeda's Object is constructed with twenty over armor pieces and in an anime like fashion. By far, the most appealing Object compared to the earlier release.
This comes packaged in a spiffy 'book-box', which opens to reveal that it consists of two window boxes; in one window box is a really well-articulated figure of Shun, along with some of his Cloth parts, diadems, and etc. In the other half is the rest of his Andromeda Cloth and no less than eight spare hands in gauntlets, in various poses, plus an additional pair that are clasped (one piece). The following are the detailed listing:
Metal parts consist of:

Non-metal parts consists of:

This item was purchase online from HLJ via preordering. Shun is not an interesting characters in Saint Seiya TV series but with the extra features and the beautiful Andromeda Object, this set is worth collecting.
