This release of Aries Sion is as seen in the anime OVA, Saint Seiya Chapter Hades. He used to be the Pope of the Sanctuary and but killed by Gemini Saga, who later impersonates him. However, Sion comes back to life as a Specter of Hades in a mission to assassinate Athena. He comes donning his Specter Cloth in a form similar to Aries Cloth that is currently owned by Mu.

Sion uses more powerful version of Mu's attacks, Stardust Revolution and Crystal Wall, owing to the fact that him being the one to have trained Mu. He was a good friend of Libra Dohko, the other survivor of the last Holy War.

This item is purchased locally at Berjaya Time Square.

Packaging
The figure comes in a packaged in a standard book box where it opens to reveal two windows; in one window is a figure of Sion, along with his cloth parts while the other half contains the rest of his armor parts and accessories.

Object
The Aries object that is very similar to Aries Mu. The most obvious difference here is the ram horn design where Sion's object comes segmented while Mu's object has a pair of smooth horn and another similarly segmented.

Figure
The body used is the latest body design currently use in the Poseidon series of figures. Note that, the head sculpt is much improved comparing the the older Limited Grand Pope releases of Sion.

   
 

 

Armored Figure

    there are mantle or cloak provided? is it a regular pvc cloak like the gold series or a different one? or is it a cloak which covers full body except for the face? thanks

    PVC only. The fabric cloak only available in Grand Pope Sion Limited Edition.
