Story
Griffin
Minos is a character from "Saint Seiya: Chapter Inferno" anime series. He is named
after Minos in Greek Mythology. According to the anime series, he is one of the
Hades's Three Judges along with Wyvern Rhadamanthys and Garuda Aikos.
"Cosmic Marionation" is Griffin Minos special attack. It is first seen at a second duel
between Gemini Kanon and Wyvern Rhadamanthys. In that duel, Gemini Kanon was gaining an
upper hand over Rhadamanthys, almost defeating him. In order to protect Rhadamanthys's life,
Griffin Minos launched his "Cosmic Marionation" in a surprise attack entangling Gemini Kanon
with his puppet strings. That attack gives him full control on his opponent's physical body,
just like a puppet, where he can manipulate his ensnared opponent in any way he desire. His
attack was disrupted by Phoenix Ikki just before he has the chance to finish off Kanon.

Object
The object take the shape of a Griffon. As with any 2-legged Object in this series,
stability is an issue. However, it is nice to see that Bandai is making an effort to
minimize this problem. All joints comes with shaped sockets that ensure precise positioning
when constructing the object.
Just be careful of the small horns on the helm. They are movable, can fall out and might
take a great deal of effort locating the small horn on the floor.
Figure
There is no new body implemented on the figure design. It is still making use of the
original body since 2003. The articulations are good enough for a fully armored Griffin
Minos.
An additional 2 hair pieces is provided for donning his helm in armor. The first piece is
for depicting Minos with his hair fringes covering his eyes and the other is showing his
eyes in clear view.
Armored Figure
The armored figure is beautiful. However, this might as well be a statue figure rather
than an action figure. Most articulations are limited by its armor's design and its weight.
I can get him to pose his signature move, "Cosmic Marionation". Beside that, I can hardly
pose him in anything else interesting without him toppling over.

| Minos with his fringes not covering his eyes. |
Conclusion
Like his buddies, the Judges of Hades, Griffin Minos comes in a higher price minus the
articulations and seems to have lesser amount of metal than Garuda Aikos. However, he is one
beautiful piece on your display shelf either in form of an object or in an armored figure.
