Lyra Orphe is a character from the Saint Seiya manga/anime. He was introduced in the
Chapter Hades: Inferno, and is based on the Greek mythological character of the same name.
While he is officially recognized as a silver saint, it is stated that his cosmos rivals
even those of gold saints.
Lyra Orphe was not only gifted musically, but skilled as a Saint as well. His control of the Cosmos was so great that he gained the reputation of being on or above the level of Gold Saints. Nevertheless, Orphe never felt all that interested in his fighting abilities but rather, he enjoyed devoting his free time playing lyre for various audiences; from the Grand Pope and the Gold saints, to Eurydice, the love of his life.
The story is similar to the mythology where Orphe lost his beloved and trapped in Hades’ Elysium field accompanying Eurydice who turned into stone, a plot that devised to trap him in the Underworld.
It is many years later, Pegasus Seiya and Andromeda Shun invaded the Underworld in the holy war against Hades and met Orphe. He learned the truth about the plot making him stay in the Underworld and defeated Sphinx Pharaoh, who is responsible in executing the plot. He later joined Seiya and Shun and plotted to kill Hades.
The assassination attempt failed and he is fatally wounded backstabbed by Wyvern Rhadamanthys.
Despite the fatal wound, Orphe still managed to carry on his plan to kill Hades and shockingly found a familiar face seated at the throne of Hades. Hades has the face of Andromeda Shun and yet, at the same time, the real Shun was still fighting by Seiya's side. Setting aside the confusion he felt, decapitate and tear Hades body into pieces. Unfortunately for Orphe, the body was a mere illusion of the Death God.
The wound is too much for him to bear and with his dying breath; Orphe sacrificed his body to give Seiya a good shot at Rhadamanthys. Seiya reluctantly threw his Ryu Sei Ken at both Rhadamanthys and the fatally injured the Lyra Saint.
With his dying breath, Orphe entrusted the life of Athena to the two young Bronze Saints and whispered the name of his lost lover, Eurydice, for they would be finally be reunited again. Content with a smile, the Silver Saint of Lyra closed his eyes for the final time, dying as a loyal Saint and as a true lover.

Figure
I got nothing much to say here. He is using the Final Bronze body, molded in blue and
white skin. The face sculpt is good and will be better is the chin is slightly longer.

Armored Figure
This is the first ever release of Silver Saint and the armor is super reflective. I have
to be very careful when taking photos of him avoiding my reflection being seen in the
photos.
There is one small setbacks on this armor is that he cannot kneel with one leg down. This is owing o the skirt armor design.
Lyra Orphe does not have many stylish stance as the Bronze Saint. His primary attack is base on playing his lyre and Bandai concentrate on giving quite a number of different hand gesture in holding and playing his lyre.

Conclusion
This is a very beautiful debut release of Silver Saint. The armor is so shinny that you
can use it as a mirror to comb your hair. A recommended item to be in your collections.
This item is a Hong Kong Edition and purchased locally at Berjaya Time Square.
