Story
Milo
believes the Master of Sanctuary’s story that Athena is dead and Saori is an imposter. When
the Master of Sanctuary decides that it is pointless to send more Silver Saints after our
Bronze Saints, it is Milo who is sent to Andromeda Island to blackmail Andromeda Shun into
leaving Athena by destroying the training camp there and injuring many of the people on the
Island, including Shun's teacher. While intended to convince Shun not to accompany his
friends in retaking Sanctuary and to dishearten him, the effect is the reverse, it seems to
give Shun the incentive to fight as hard as he can in the following battles. Later Milo
fights Hyoga in the re-taking of the Sanctuary and begins to have doubts about the
authenticity of the Master's story of Athena and Saori.
In that duel, Milo demonstrated his ultimate attack, Restriction and Scarlet Needle. Restriction is a technique that immobilize his opponents and only seen once against the bronze Saints. His other main attack is that of the "Scarlet Needle", which punches small but deadly holes in his opponents. The holes are made in a specific pattern that of the stars in the constellation Scorpio. The last attack is placed in the "Scorpion's Heart", Antares, and is the final fatal blow.
Packaging
Scorpio Milo is the ninth release of Gold Saint in the Saint Cloth Myth Series, comes
packaged in a yellow ‘book box’. It opens to reveal two window boxes; in one window box is a
really well articulated figure of Milo, along with some of his cloth parts while the other
half contains the rest of his Gold Cloth and Scorpio Object parts.
The following are the parts count and items in bold are of metal (bold underline is for partially made of metal):

The package also comes with a 6-pages color instruction manual and a mantel. The mantel is of standard design that made from the usual PVC-like material with 2 plastic plugs.

Scorpio Object
Scorpio Object is another animal zodiac among the 12 constellations. Constructing this
object is neither simple nor hard. Note that a few steps sequence need following as
indicated by the numbering on the instruction manual and it should not be a problem to those
that read the instruction carefully.
The object comes with a basic frame with 2 long scorpion pinchers. The body made like a mannequin to accommodate the chest armor and skirt armor. Its arm bracer is slotted to the butt and the rest of its armor parts (arm guard, leg and thigh armor) are place to the scorpion large pinchers. The shoulder armor comes with a square pin that place to the side of the object just above the pinchers. Milo helmet is divided into 2 parts where the circlet is place on the scorpion head and the tail is pinned to the bum. The tail is made of 16 segments. Each segment is ball jointed thus giving a very flexible tail.
There is an interesting concept use in the object. A real scorpion comes with legs and has its butt rise slightly higher to the air. In order to recreate this attribute, Scorpio object is using a system similar to Cancer. Instead of having legs that lock to the mannequin, a special detachable connector is used. It is made of a moveable “X” shape joint that has 2 pins to connect to the shoulder of the mannequin. Since most armor parts is focus on its pair of pinchers, by weight factor, the tail of the scorpion is tilt up to the air.
The Scorpio object is a beautiful piece and wonderfully recreated as close as possible to a real scorpion.

Milo Figure
Milo comes in the standard PVC body, which is the exact same design since the series first
release. I do wish Bandai will use the final bronze figure design but then this well
articulated figure is ample for a Gold Saint. Usually Bandai will differentiate the figure
by having a different body color but this time Milo's body is painted in deep green, which
is similar to its prior release Aries Mu. The other major difference of this figure with
others will be its boots and head sculpt.
Milo head sculpt is nicely done. The complexion is not 100-percent anime like but it is close enough to pass as Milo. I believe it has a mixture of anime and TV series sculpt. His hair implements the usual detachable hair fringe to wear the crown. However, in order to recreate his hair volume depth as seen in anime, Bandai put another thin piece of his hair that hang on the ball joint on the neck. Although the Milo's head does not look nice without armor, it fit in perfectly to the armored body.
The armor figure is superb, especially when it comes with an articulated tail at his circlet that can swerve left or right for posing. The shoulder armors are using some plastic click-joints that connect to the chest armor. This is indeed a very nice feature where it gave strength to lift the shoulder armor all by its own. The intricate patterns on the armor, butterfly shape chest and plus squares arm guard really make Milo stand out among the gold. What is a Gold Saint without a mantle? The mantel is made from the usual PVC-like material and it comes with the usual plastic plugs that plug into the provided hole behind his chest armor.
The package also includes 6 extra gauntlet hands (2 fists, 2 grips, 2 open palms) and a "Scarlet Needle" hand. The provided hands are well thought of; enable Scorpio Milo to recreate some infamous pose as seen in anime, such "Scarlet Needle" and "Athena Exclamation".

Conclusion
Scorpio Milo comes with a superbly articulated body, good Scorpio object and beautifully
designed Gold Armor. He is also one of the figures required to recreate the “Athena
Exclamation” scene. I will highly recommend this figure to all Saint Seiya fans out there.
