Story
Siren Sorrento, one of the Poseidon Mariner Generals, first revealed himself as Poseidon's messenger, who
gave the Nibelung Ring to Hilda, the guardian of Asgard.
Sorrento revealed himself toward the end of Asgard Chapter, and fought with Alpha Star Dubhe Siegfried, who realized that Hilda is under the manipulation of Poseidon. Siegfried, already injured from battling with the Bronze Saints, could not overcome Sorrento's "Dead End Symphony" even after he pierced his eardrums; he was still able to hear the music. Siegfried realized that the only way to defeat Sorrento is to self-sacrifice himself. He grabbed onto Sorrento and then was going to kill both of them by ascending into space. However, Sorrento was able to free himself by projecting a demon fairy image to shock Siegfried, and then playing his song to weaken Siegfried, causing Siegfried to release his hold.
Later in Chapter Poseidon, he appears as guardian of the Pillar of the South Atlantic Ocean. Sorrento faced Andromeda Shun in battle. Andromeda Shun was also no match for Siren Sorrento's techniques and being crippled by the power of Sorrento's “Dead End Symphony”. However, he was interrupted when both heard the prayer of Athena. Shun decided to use "Rolling Defense", which can block out any sound wave by repelling the air, but Sorrento used his music to destroy Shun's Cloth and Nebula Chains. Shun used Nebula Stream to restrict Sorrento's movements, making him unable to play his flute. Knowing that, upon using his full power, “Nebula Stream” would become “Nebula Storm” and will kill Sorrento. Shun asked him to surrender. Sorrento, telling him that Poseidon's generals would never beg for mercy from an enemy, continued to play the "Dead End Climax." Shun had no choice but to use “Nebula Storm” to defeat Sorrento.
Although Sorrento was thought to be dead, he actually survived this attack. After Poseidon was defeated and sealed, Sorrento again encountered Julian Solo, now no longer with the spirit of Poseidon. They became friends although Julian does not remember their previous meeting. Sorrento accompanied Julian to use the power of his music to bring joy to the victims who suffered from the global natural disasters caused by Poseidon's awakening.

Object
Sorrento, being the guardian of the Pillar of the South Atlantic Ocean and one of Poseidon Marine
Generals, he is granted with a golden marine scale taking the form of Siren. Siren is a mythical sea deity,
where it is believed that seamen who sailed near were decoyed with the Siren's enchanting music to shipwreck
on the rocky coast. The original form of siren is taking the shape of a woman however, this Poseidon version
of Siren is the form where Siren is granted wings by Demeter to search for Persephone when she was abducted.
Aside from the mythology, Siren object is beautiful. I assume that this design is the best so far for a Marine Scale Object comparing to its 2 other predecessors namely Kraken and Seadragon. Assembling the object is a no-brainer and this should come as a second nature for those who collect Cloth Myth.

Figure
The figure of Sorrento is fortunately granted with Bandai's latest body design being currently use in its God Warriors and Poseidon figures. It has inherited its excellent articulation from its predecessor final bronze body while the joints and, most notably, its hips being slim down to a correct proportion.
Face sculpt is of today quality standard. I do not think anyone will need an "Appendix" release to update his face sculpt for quite a number of years. He looks like Sorrento and that should be enough.

Armored Figure
Siren's armor is what I like best. Kraken's design is too pointy and Seadragon's falls somewhere in
between. Whereas, this Siren Scale is rounder and more pleasing to the eye. The moveable elbow pads and
kneepads are a plus here. Cloth Myth figures has the tendency to exposed its elbow joints and knee joints
whenever one bend its arms or legs. These movable pads do helps in covering the joints from being exposed.
Siren's scale comes with a pair of wings. It can be swapped with a smaller mini wing to look less unobtrusive. It also has the third options for hardcore anime fans that prefer the mantel to the wings.
This is a full armor design. Articulations wise, expect to pay a heavy toll on its mobility. Besides being look nice playing with his flute, I found it difficult to pose him in any other position.

Conclusion
This action figure comes with beautiful golden armor and object. Face sculpt is accurate and comes with a
well-articulated body. The articulation is restrictive as expected in any full armor design as in any Gold
Saints out there. He cannot pose in much position but it sure deserves a place on your shelves, silently
playing Sorrento’s deadly “Dead End Symphony”. This item is worth keeping for those who is into collecting
Poseidon’s Marine Generals.
This item is purchased locally at Berjaya Time Square.
