is the 26th release of the Super Imaginative
Chogokin series that comes in another twin featuring
2 detailed figures of Masked Rider ZO and a monster
from the same Masked Rider series, Doras.
This item is a Hong Kong Edition SIC figures, identified by a hologram sticker printed with the word "Authorized Distribution by Bandai (HK) Co Ltd." sticks to the colored cardboard at the base of its plastic tray. The package as usual comes with a black and white instruction sheet tapered to the back of the colored cardboard. A point to note that I notice during play, Hong Kong Edition of SIC figures come with tighter joints comparing with its Japan releases.
Masked Rider ZO is the standard SIC figures with a simplistic design and the usual articulation. Beautifully painted in deep green with gold lining and the head is decorated with a white strip spanning from its mouth to the back of its head. The head is ball jointed with clear red eyes with a small pinhole each to place its clear antennae. The standard ZO look is convertible to a more vicious “fanged” look by exchanging the detachable mouthpiece with another spare part. Unlike other Masked Rider, Masked Rider ZO does not come with a “henshin” belt but it adorned its waist with a clear red orb. The figure can pose with 2 additional hands (grip) included in the package.
In overall, Masked Rider ZO comes with a streamline body where at a glance, look like a person with a skintight diving suit. It comes without any loose or detachable armor parts and a solid body to play.
The second figure, Doras, is the actual limelight stealer on this release. It packed with plentiful features and a solid design attractively colored in a crustacean way. The exoskeleton body design is much look like a lobster in terms of texture and color. The head comes with a moveable jaw and 2 gold antennae have to be attached to the forehead. It chest open in 4 directions revealing a hollow chamber. This chamber is sculpted in detail and its sole function is to accommodate Doras’s heart. Doras comes with 2 hearts, one in hard PVC and another in metal. 2 additional hands are included. Beside that, it also comes with a metal claw right arm exchangeable with its existing right arm. The most interesting feature is its long tail, which can bend in multiple directions for posing. Another shorter "tail bud" is included to pose Doras without the long tail.
