This is my first Medicom action doll. Medicom is always like a luxurious item that seem like I could not
afford. The brand gives me a sense of luxury and I always thought Medicom is always a par above others.
Once I got this item on hand, I am slightly disappointed to learn the truth that Medicom is not the only best out there. Quality wise, this is comparatively similar to Takara and Hot Toys who are selling at a slightly lower price. As value for money, Sideshow Toys is still the best out there.
This Medicom Asuka Langley comes with quite limited amount of accessories. There are only 2 spare hands and a transparent doll stand with 2 different size clips to choose. The larger clip is for the waist and a smaller clip for the leg.
The figure comes with a fully articulated soft vinyl body. This means the body comes with sections that are made of soft material namely her breast and her bottom. It is simply squishy soft when you press on the mentioned parts but there is nothing really special about it.
The workmanship on the doll clothing is quite good. There are no extra threads and the seams are being sewn tougher than others are. Her plugsuit costume is all sealed up and cannot be taken off.
There are some problems with this figure. Her shoulders and upper arm joint sometimes pop out. Since her costume cannot be taken-off, you need to manage blindly to reattach the joints back to the body. This is a very frustrating process.
