feared weapon by his enemies. With a little
guidance, he is sure to become seasoned warrior.

Comment
This item come package in a box with a cut out windows to
display Ironhide in vehicle form. The package also includes
1 missile tied to the side of the box with a product catalog
cum comic book. I also have the usual Energon ID Card and a
1-page instruction sheet. The toy is secure to the box via
numerous twisted wires, which I found tedious to pack and
re-pack this item for safekeeping.
Ironhide come package in his vehicle form, which is something like a SUV vehicle where its major color is in blue and red. This is an original coloring as seen early in the anime.
Ironhide does come with a load of fun factor. Firstly, it will be its sound gimmick that require 2 AAA battery (not included). When the batteries are installed, Ironhide features with 2 sound effects. Rotating the head will give out a machine gun sound, whereas, his missile launcher, located at the side of his head, when pushed backward will trigger a rocket firing sound. The missile launcher also fire a missile provided via a spring mechanism.
Secondly, will be its powerlinx (superlink) capability with other Autobots that sold separately. I have purchase this along with Energon Overcast just to try this gimmick out. Ironhide can transform to either the top-half or bottom-half of a powerlinx figure.
The figure comes with a very good amount of articulations considering it a Transformer toys. The head rotates, elbow ball-jointed, click-joint on hips and shoulders and hinged joint on knee. This robot does not come with any articulation on its waist.
Conclusion
Although Ironhide is considered quite a new character in
the Transformers world, its bulky look, great articulations
and cool powerlinx capability guarantee to provide a good
amount of fun playing with it. The only downsize is that he
does not comes with any handheld weapons.
This toy is bought from Graffiti Toys, Berjaya Times Square.
