Comment
This is a gorgeously pre-painted figure of
Akuma-san (literally translated as Miss Demon)
wearing only her apron that hardly covers much of
her body. Originally release as a resin kit and now
in PVC medium manufactured by Daiki Kogyo, a rather
new or unknown company to me.
The package comes with a single figure only. It
is quite huge kneeling at 19.3 cm in height. Sadly,
there are no display base provided. As you can see
from the last photo here, each parts is detachable.
The neck comes ball-jointed thus it is movable in
all direction. Although the wings are ball-jointed,
there are very little movement you can do with it.
The rest of the parts, arms and her tail, are
socket-jointed and it does not allow movement. It is
a nice touch that this PVC figure comes with black
laces made of cloth for tying her braids.
Can the figure pose in pure artistic form? The
answer is yes but I am not posting any of these
photos here just to tolerate those minor
closed-minded people who might be offended by
mistaking pornography with pure art. Sorry. ^_^
This is not a perfect figure in terms of
craftsmanship but a very good effort comparable to
most notable PVC manufacturer. I guess the market
trend is moving towards detachable parts and movable
PVC figure. I am expecting to see more of these type
in coming future. Long Live Daiki Kogyo!
