Story
Toushin
Toshi II (1997) is the sequel to the popular Toushin Toshi
H-Game series by Alicesoft, which takes place in the same
world as their well-known Rance series. A three-part anime
series has been made and released in the US under the name
"Tournament of the Gods".
I did not play the game and the following background is gathered from the net.
I presume you are the usual anonymous player in the usual H-Game world where you have been in love with your old childhood friend Hazuki ever since you can remember. The problem here is that she is the daughter of your mentor and you are stuck at the pathetic level 4, making winning her hand a bit out of you reach.
Your chance comes with the Toushin Tournament, a fighting tourney that happens every year. The best fighters enter to win the coveted Toushin title (literally God of Battle). Each contestant must participate with a female partner and if the contestant loses the battle, their partner becomes the property of the winner for the rest of the day and free to do whatever he or she wishes on them. (*ahem*)
Hazuki, after getting the promise from her father to allow her marriage to you if she goes as the partner of the strongest warrior of all his pupils, she heads out to the Tournament but she in fact agreed to a promise waiting to the broken. Hazuki's father, determined to have a strong warrior carry on the dojo, wants only the winner of the tournament to marry her daughter. This leaving you with only one option: To win the tournament.
As you fight, a number of mysteries arise. What is the reason the Toushin Tournament is held every year? Why did a person tell you not to win the tournament? Why is it that none of the previous winners ever leaves the city?
Comment
This is an extremely large PVC model of Mizuhara Hazuki,
in her custom armor and her huge sword. She comes with a
black octagonal display base.
She comes from a company that does not specialize in large PVC figure and the workmanship is never as perfect as others are, such as Max, Kotobukiya or Good Smile. There are some minor defects that I spotted. The first defects will be the gap on the top of her hair. Next will be the mold lines on both sides of the thigh.
She does come with an additional gimmick where her breastplate can be removed. It is a cool additional but it is best left as it is. You will be greeted with a huge disappointment where her pinkies are colored in orange!
In overall, she comes with a very good armor and a very good paint job (except for the mentioned area).
