Comment
The figure is base on the popular Queen's Blade
role-playing combat game played through visual books
and dice. This item is produce by Megahouse and it
comes with very nice paint job and craftsmanship.
PVC figures nowadays are a plenty and getting
very competitive in the market. Almost all PVC
figures now come with at least a gimmick. This
Reina's only and biggest gimmick is her ability to
be converted to her alternate display mode that is
in her artistic form. For the rest of you who are
less art inclined, the word 'half-naked' should ring
a bell.
I do not wish to discuss morality or religious
issues here. If you are offended or a minor, just
leave this site.
What I perceived here is that this Reina’s comes
with an excellent paint job and craftsmanship. I
have been inspecting the figure and there are no
paint run or mold release lines to be seen.
Moreover, this is by far the best anime skin tone
ever painted on a PVC figure that I have ever seen.
The color and shading is simply perfect. This is
also the first PVC figure that I have seen where the
nipples are painted correctly. Her armor is painted
in a very nice pearl blue and the toning on her hair
is correctly done.
A clear blue display base is provided to keep the
figure standing on your display shelf.
In conclusion, a character from Queen’s Blade is
not well known outside Japan but then Megahouse has
done a terrific job on this and very well worth
collecting.
